"Use your smile to change the world. Don't let the world change your smile." -Unknown
8 | 365 It's a good ole' Minnesota snow-day and I had zero inspiration this morning, guess that goes along with the the temperature outside. This wintery day had me feeling mopey. I kept looking out the window and thinking how thankful I was to not have to go out in this crud. Then, *LIGHTBULB* ...this project is meant to force me to push myself. So, I put on my hat, grabbed my camera and walked my mopey butt out into the blizzard. And you know what? I'm actually feeling pretty darn happy now. Funny how things work, huh?
9 | 365 This stay-at-home mom/photographer has been cooped up for WAY too long. Feeling crabby again today. So, I figured it only made sense to photograph one of the things that influence my crabbiness... the constant stack of dishes needing to be done in a home filled with children. On a side note... THANK THE LORD I have a wedding to photograph tomorrow. I took some time off during the holiday's and I haven't had any client sessions yet this year. I think this is a big factor in my mood. I love staying home and raising my children, but BOY OH BOY am I ready to put in a long days work outside of the home... with real live adults.
10 | 365 Today was very busy, prepping for and photographing a wedding. I have many beautiful images I could use from it, but I will be trying my hardest to keep this project a bit more personal and not use client images. On my way home, I pulled over in downtown St. Peter and snapped this one. I've always wanted to try this and it was a lot of fun, but very cold!
11 | 365 He didn't want to take his usual mid-day nap today. This is 2.5 hours before his usual bedtime. He didn't even spill a drop of his cereal.
Toddlers... they're hilarious.
12 | 365 This poor chair has seen much better days. We purchased it before my first son was born, specifically because it was a rocker/recliner. I knew I would be spending a lot of time rocking away and wanted a comfy place to do so. My oldest is now a toddler and the chair, that will no longer rock, has seen much better days. Yet, it still seems to be the number one place everyone in my family wants to sit in our living room.
So, I apologize in advance for the ugly tan chair you will see in many of my images, but my boys will have my head if I toss it.
13 | 365 My house is constantly full of boys. Today we added a new male into the mix... Mr. Potato Head. He is pretty popular with my crew.
14 | 365 He think's his Mommy has a pretty cool job. (So does his Mommy.)
